I redesigned Dovetail projects to unlock greater flexibility across research workflows. Customizable sidebars, multiple layouts, and saved views allow users to tailor projects to their needs, explore data in different ways, and switch contexts without losing progress, making Dovetail usable for a wider range of teams and use cases.

This flexibility also opened the door to a new Canvas layout I designed to unlock collaborative affinity mapping directly within Dovetail, enabling teams to synthesize insights together in one place and support more exploratory research workflows without relying on external tools.
